Ravens Moreland
Hailing From The Rough Port City of Long Beach Ca. Ravens Moreland was conceived by Bruce "Raven" Moreland, Raven co-founded at age 17 along with brother (The late Marc Moreland) Eighties experimental art band "Wall Of Voodoo". Raven once sat in on bass for "Lords of The New Church" ,and played for a year with L.A. Gender Bending Goth/Art/Industrial Group "Nervous Gender" He also co-wrote with Johnette Napolitano the song "Sky is a Poisonous Garden" on Concrete Blond's "Bloodletting" Record. Raven who sold his soul to the devil sometime in the 1990's also stayed underground so-to-speak through most of that time period, also visiting a few mental institutions and a jail or two. With plenty o f time to write music and Lyrics, he decided to unleash this new sound upon a society being sucked artless by faux punk ,Hip Hop and Emo "soul mosquito" bands. Since recording his debut record "Lock Up your Mothers" Raven Has teamed up with L. Here are the details: Our venue has a huge outdoor patio. I have been under tremendous stress the last 2 weeks not knowing the status of SABBAT or even allowed to release a clue as to what is going on and IF we even go on. Because YOU are the CLUB, you have a right to know what it takes to make a club like this go on and what is going on. THE FLAME has been sold and is under new ownership. I have had to go to extremes to keep this type of classy upscale night club for San Diego gothic, industrial scene. Finished a meeting this am and have SABBAT guaranteed thru May 31st and hopefully much further! What I need from YOU the PATRONS, is ATTENDANCE as much as possible, if you desire to keep a club of this magnitude. The last few SABBAT's have been amazing and that is what we need to keep it. The FLAME is under even more construction again and I have been asked by the new owners to bear with them as the club under goes these changes.
